Set temperature ramp rate from 1°C/hr to 400°C/hr. Platinum RTD measurement provides precision and accuracy over entire temperature range to 842°F (450°C). Memory stored temperature calibration can be reset using the probe calibration kit (sold separately). Set timer with auto-off for exact timed heating and stirring of your sample.
Hot plates have an epoxy-coated cast aluminum chassis and a splash-resistant keyboard cover. Indicator lights let you know if top plate is hot or unit has reached overtemperature status. Ceramic glass top plates are impervious to chemical spills; feature a cast-aluminum frame to keep edges cool. Aluminum top plates are ideal for general-purpose applications and can reach maximum temperature in under 10 minutes.
