Fraction collector works well in automated liquid chromatography systems.

Automate your fractioning procedures with our programmable fraction collector. Features three fractionation modes,time, drop count, and external count; and four nozzle movement modes. Collector also features a shifting-type nozzle allowing you to deliver liquids into specified tube position. Built-in wait drain allows discharge of buffer or waste solution apart from the collection tubes (included). All nozzle movement modes allow setting of wait interval at the drain prior to start.

Enter programs via the built-in keypad�prompts on the 16-letter/7-number LED display guide you through programming steps. Retrieve stored procedures for automatic repetition at the touch of a button. Battery backup ensures that programs will not be lost from memory. Fraction collector has a built-in heater for cold room use and a self-check function.

Four Nozzle Movement Modes:

Simple Mode controls dispensing or collection of a uniform quantity in each test tube for the entire sequence of tubes.
Window Mode lets you set up to 10 ��windows�� (the length of time during which a sample is collected). In this mode, you can also vary the time interval between sample collections. Three-way valve 01473-93 is recommended for use in this mode; order separately.
Peak Mode allows you to collect up to 10 individual absorbance peaks in separate tubes. At start, sample is discharged to wait drain if level is below the programmed peak value. Sample collection in the tubes begins when the detected absorbance level exceeds the programmed level. Between peaks, the sample is collected in a separate line of tubes. Use three-way valve 01473-93 for operation in peak mode; order separately.
Bottle Mode lets you collect individually selectable quantities in larger-volume bottles.
Combine the modes for added sample collection versatility (for example, ��window�� and ��peak�� modes can be combined to give you a ��window-peak�� mode).
Collector includes a test tube rack that holds 120 tubes in a 12 x 10 array (accommodates 90- to 180-mm H x 12- to 18-mm dia tubes), test tube tray for placement under rack (12-1/2"L x 8-1/2"W x 2-1/2"H; 318 mm x 216 mm x 64 mm), 6-1/2-ft (2 meters) of 1-mm ID PTFE tubing, and 6-ft power cord with U.S. standard plug.
