These compact single-position stirrers are completely sealed in a polished stainless steel housing. Electromagnetic design accommodates stir bars 2 inches or less in length.
Speed dial lets you select speeds from 100 to 1000 rpm. Choose faster speeds for intensive stirring; use slower speeds for stable stirring with smaller stir bars, or where ��jumping�� stir bars would damage samples. Stirring speed remains constant despite variations in voltage or in the viscosity of the liquid being stirred.
Submersible models are first hermetically sealed and then enclosed in stainless steel for extra protection. The controller is connected to submersible stirring unit via a 6-1/2-ft cable. |
