Safely use this explosion-proof hot plate where flammable gases or vapors can produce explosive or ignitable mixtures�ideal for evaporating volatile organic solvents and heating lacquers.
Thermostat maintains temperature to within 5.5°C. Added safety thermostat prevents temperatures from exceeding 243°C. Hot plate features a durable, corrosion-resistant steel case; cast-aluminum top plate accommodates metal vessels.
Hot plate includes a ½'' conduit attachment and an 18'' lead wire for UL-required hookup (no plug). Optional dial thermometer fits directly into top plate to monitor top plate temperature�order separately.
