A built-in backup controller automatically takes over if the actual temperature reaches 5C or more above the set point. The alarm indicator lets you know when the overtemperature value has been exceeded and the back up controller is in use. Battery backup memory lets you run consecutive tests eliminating the need to reset the temperature before each run.
