This enhanced four-element flame photometer now features the addition of a calcium channel. In addition to the features available on the standard dual channel flame photometer, this new unit allows direct measurement of calcium with potassium, which are two vital elements for soil analysis after using Mehlich (111) extraction. Unit allows you to measure calcium in combination with sodium, and also with lithium without an internal standard.
This flame photometer can be used as a detector in combination with multi-channel analyzers from Bran & Luebbe, Skalar, and Lachat. The system includes its own protocols for calibration, and includes a special mode allowing you to setup the flame photometer within these protocols. User selectable signal averaging is designed into the system allowing you to use these protocols along with analog output units. Features include automatic ignition sequence, lithium internal standard, monitoring and control software, dual-channel display, and independent calibration of each channel. An automatic gas shutoff mechanism activates if the flame is accidentally extinguished, or if air pressure drops.
(Four-Element Flame Photometer shown with autosampler (02657-25) and automatic dilutor (02657-00) both sold separately.)
What's included: one each of Na+, K+, Ca+ filters, one each of 1000 ppm Na+, Ca+, K+ standards in a 100-mL bottle, two meters each of gas and air tubing with connectors, RS-232 output cable, and a 7-ft power cable.
